Wrong

The OECD upgraded the stimulus' effect on US GDP by a whopping 3.3% yesterday, which is far more impactful than bonds experiencing slightly higher demand than normal

Lol if you think the economic boom hasn't been priced in for a while now.

The 3.2% growth in the December forecast would be priced in, but the OECD increased the economic forecast yesterday by another 3.3%

You can say loads of things you don't understand are priced in if you want. The government's own CBO said they expected 4.6% growth this year, and that was last month, so you don't know what you're talking about

Congratulations on being unable to determine future economic growth until the big ole' OECD reports it!

2020-2021: Cathie Woods - S&P500 earnings will blowout 2020s
2/08/2021: IHS Markit revises GDP growth to 5.7%
2/09/2021: Goldman Sachs boosts US GDP forecast to 6.8% in 2021
2/22/2021: BOA reports estimated GDP growth of 6.5%
2/24/2021: Morningstar projects U.S. real GDP growth of 5.3% in 2021
(ignoring every other economic factor)

3/9/2021: OECD has lifted its 2021 global growth forecast to 5.6%.

You're a damned fool if you think the OECD moves markets. Sorry but... PRICED IN.

IGO's are more influential in macroeconomic forecasts than investment banks, plus 6.6% is larger than previously expected by most, even judging by what you've linked. The GDP growth forecasts for other countries have been revised upwards by the OECD as a result of the stimulus too, so for multinational companies with significant proportions of their revenues earned abroad, it is actually a big deal

Who would've thought that money printing at every central bank, lower USD, and rubberbanding supply chains would greatly benefit foreign countries?

Do you have any resources, preferably audio, that I can listen to that details futures, bonds, etc. etc.?

I know generally what these things are and have a very limited understanding of their interactions.

Honestly nothing specific I can point too. I’ve been listening to financial podcasts for years and my education is in economics and I I’m 2 months away from getting my finance mba, so most of my knowledge on these topics is basically from that. Plus I’ve worked in banking.

The Wall Street journal is a good start. If you make a habit of reading it for even 10-15 every morning it will help you get a decent understanding of the business world in the long run.

I can recommend two podcast that I listen to weekly, that I can say personally stir my thoughts as they tend to to have some fairly smart people on them.

One is alpha trader, episode 73 was a very good one that broke down bonds and the recent concerns very nicely with an extremely smart guest named Steve Sosnick who’s IBKRs chief trading strategy guy.

Another one that I’ve listened to is the disciplined investor by Andrew Horowitz. Smart guy, portfolio manager been following him for awhile as well.

Both of these are pretty dry but if you’re passionate about learning they’re decent educational tools.
