Really think Boeing is a buy at these levels for long term hold. There is 0 chance this company is allowed to go under considering there's essentially a market duopoly between US Boeing and Europe's Airbus. Plus they make tons US military hardware. Throwing soem money in this and forgetting about it for 5 years.

of course not. we have 'socialism' for large corporations like that. people going bankrupt over medical bills or student loan? sorry, our donors say we simply can't afford to pay for that. wall street or boeing being in trouble? spend that taxpayer money to save them!

Corporations exist because they could prove they have some benefit to society. We bailed out the auto industry because we need to be able to convert those manufacturing plants for military use if we need to. That is why we bail out industries who make cars and airplanes.

We should expect Trump the send out some checks or did give out some sort of relief.

I think after all of this more people are going to get on board with regulating algorithmic trading. I heard a few CEO's speak on this and it's absolutely ridiculous how machine trading can essentially destroy stock prices without some underlying news, fundamentals change, etc. You have companies that have market caps of 10 tens of billions of dollars swinging double digit % daily.

Honestly, I think we've overdeployed AI and algorithms in general. As great as AI is for some tasks, it's often overstated how effective they are. AI likes to cheat, algorithms that are simple enough for us to understand are only able to work in situations we've parameterized them for, etc. etc.
