One area where I think stonk crosses over into something actually interesting to invest in is space exploration. This is pretty much the last frontier for us as humans and we all grew up on things like star wars, star trek & other SciFi space movies so there will be a natural allure to these type of investments.
I should have shared these ideas with you guys on here when I invested in them like a month ago. I bought Virgin Galactic (SPCE) at 25 and SRAC at 16.
SPCE at some point very soon (end of the month?) will have another test flight. Their business model is essentially space tourism, with many customers already lined up who are willing to pay 400k per flight.
A bit of info on SRAC
Quote
Merger to create the first publicly traded space infrastructure company at the forefront of the new space economy
Momentus partners and customers include SpaceX, Lockheed Martin, and NASA
Momentus to become publicly listed through a business combination with Stable Road Acquisition Corp. (Nasdaq: SRAC, SRACU, SRACW) (“Stable Road”)
Combined company will have an estimated enterprise value of approximately $1.2 billion and will become listed on Nasdaq under the ticker symbol “MNTS” following expected transaction close in early 2021

https://momentus.space/investors/I'm up on both a ton already but to me, these are essentially buy and hold for a decade. They could either go bust or they could be like buying tesla at 150 pre-split.
I have somewhere around 3.5% of my portfolio in these companies and definitely advise people to not put serious money in them.
