Indeed. Buying 3 bedroom 1.5 bath. Rented it for 1150, and after the "equity sharing" they do to incentivize you to buy it came out to 950 a month, but I won't get that money back until we close. The minimum rent for a similar house 2 years ago was 1300. So once we move out we'll be able to make a decent amount on it renting.
Since theres only two good school districts in my city we're going to have to move into a million dollar trailer if we have kids while we rent this place out. It'll be worth it though, since if they go to a good school and get good test scores they'll get free private tuition at the university my wife and I work at.
