I've traded crypto for almost 5 years. If you trade emotionally, you will surely lose your monies. The markets are designed to take money from emotional investors. If you don't have trading skills, your best bet is to put a little cash (what you can afford to lose) into an asset and leave it long term. Btc still has huge potential in this cycle, but it's more likely than not that at the end there will come a crash and a correction. In past cycles, the correction has been significant, up to 80% retrace. However now there are institutions involved, which might reduce the correction. Do a bit of research to find something you believe in long term. Personally, I can't see you doing badly if you invest in btc and hold it for 5 years. But most people aren't interested in holding for that duration of time.
I wish you all the best mate and hope things work out for you.
True, this is my first time ever investing, and I made a lot of stupid buy/sell decisions due to "emotional trading".
I guess I am too greedy, and want to maximize profit in a short period.
Thanks for the insights
