Millenial dumb dumbs: "Bitcoin is the future"
Bitcoin: is $10,000
Me trying to buy bread: uhhh

Try being the first person to spend a fiat currency when gold was the liquid asset....

Some people are just born to stay dumb. I won't help.

There's an absolute boatload of potential in crypto, Bitcoin is essentially just the "gold" of crypto and is a store of value and that's about it. It doesn't have very practical uses and I wouldn't recommend buying into BTC.

However, if you look into the SCP (Stellar Consensus Protocol); XLM you can imagine one instance of a global currency that would be absolutely incredible on a large scale.

Then you can look at Ethereum and it's unlimited potential for smart contracts and programming/application development or involvement and you can see an even greater example of how this "currency" can be used.

I enjoy gaming currencies as well, take a look at ENJ (Enjin) if you're curious about a potentially "global" type of forum gold for many/any games as time goes on.

I have a rough understanding of what cryptocurrency is capable of, but at the moment it is a shill market that is dominated by those with enough money to manipulate prices and rob the average joe cryptocurrency user.

Eventually, some blockchain may have enough power behind it to be a competitive global currency. The day when you can transfer your entire amount of wealth to another country, withdraw/deposit it conveniently from anywhere in the world within a 1-10 second window, and not have to worry about fluctuating pricing or exchange rates is the day it will become a staple in every business, home, and life.

Until then, do whatever you want with your cash whether it be in one imaginary currency or another.

Bingo.

The latter paragraph is describing what xrp is trying to be.

Ofcourse Bitcoin > FG

For me FG is just a fun way to make Path of Exile more enjoyable and I like the fact I will be able to buy WoW classic gold. That's why I'm very active trading and flipping poe currency. Already got tired of POE.
