The US stock market is saturated and is not good for growth. Europe, UK and Asia excl Japan are all better options imo. I don't know if you're just investing in shares or in funds but the latter is far more diversified and therefore less risk. I would not put a significant amount of money into shares of a few businesses unless I was an SME
