Maybe you have those beautiful wooden floors under the carpet? Sand, poly, profit if you lucky.

The place is built on a slab, so unfortunately not. Was thinking of throwing LVP down though. That’s what the rest of the house is besides the tiled kitchen.

I know this sounds absolutely insane. But you may wanna consider lowering your prices with the caveat that there is a strict vetting and backround process since there is only 1-2 places to rent.

I stayed at a place like this for a year and it was great. Saved up enough money to move where I actually wanted to go. See if you can increase the required credit scores for people to move in since you are willing to lower the price. And im not talking a thousand dollars here. If you lower the price of the rent even 50-100 bucks compared to other similarly rated places in the area, youll have people around the back waiting, and you let one or two with a 9 or ten out of ten credit rating and spotless backround check. Because youre a landlord youre just going to increase the price next year anyway.

House is done!! New floors, refinished tub, whole place cleaned, had to patch drywall in a spot, fleas gone, prior tenant being taken to court!

I posted the place online and I had 10 people inquiring within an hour.

The place looks really good!!

How did you finish the floors?

I put cheap LVP down in a place last year, totally failed, cracking and buckling. Curious what you did on your slab? Currently cleaning/hand grinding the concrete up again thinking about polishing it or doing something epoxy.
