This is for Canadians only. Duff. I had no idea OTC trades fall into two different pots when traded in your TFSA. Eligible and ineligible. In you make an OTC trade that's ineligible the penalty come tax time is severe. Luckily mine were eligible after a bank call this morning to have someone look at each transaction to confirm eligibility.

I know there is a lot of chatter around regulating and/or breaking up the tech giants and some of these stocks are taking it on the chin but think it creates an opportunity.

I bought FB recently. It's trading at a forward P/E of less than 25 while still growing tremendously. Unlike most other tech companies FB didn't run up a bunch in 2020 and it's only up 16%. Another reason why I think FB is a good company to own is because of Oculus. VR is only getting started and this industry is going to explode in the upcoming years.

the idle pacification of the masses continues as planned. programmers, IT, and remote workers making 6 figs+ living in places where $700/month gets you a 1 bedroom 1.5 bath. all the excess funds can stimulate the future economy by buying a waifu for girlfriend (see: ) and VR to simulate reality

NFI released guidance today. This is not one I had a sell order for, I am up nearly 55% in 1 and a half months.

Anyone who mentions the word electric....

NFI GROUP INC COM (+81.03%)

I have to exit this soon I think. Electric is the new pot stock.

Anyone holding ETH and have any idea on an exit price you're targeting?

ive dabbled in it but TBH i knew as much about ETH as I did about DOGE and treated them the same. invest to invest, cash in to cash out. didnt give 2 shits about the underlying tech.

from what im reading, other than just being historically tied to BTC price which is speculated to still have a Bull run in store over the next few years, ETH could buck the trend of 2017-present and take actual market share.

Eth 2.0 is aiming to seriously beef up usage and separate the coin from other similar application coins, however the fact that it has competitors sets it apart from BTC afaik. also the supply is not limited like BTC and doesnt have a standard halving mechanism for rewards, and although i dont understand how can basically eliminate rewarding in some instances.

In any case the 1kish and below dip of yesterday seems like a good opportunity for both short and long term buying with a rebound to 1100 today on stabilization. i personally bought a little chunk to hold based on Eth 2.0 news when it might pump then ill dump.

but am curious if there are any LONG term eth HLODers in pard on this or if its BTC or bust round these here parts.
