I went cash heavy around October assuming that something like this would happen. We'll see if this second strain has a similar impact as #1.

If so, i'll be going hot and heavy.

Really just depends if the new strain has retained the spike protein or not. If it has, then all immunity up to now is preserved. If it hasn't... well... the stock market is going to be the least of our concerns.

The strain has 17 mutations...but only one mutation in the spike protein.
Feels like this is similar to the D614G mutation reported before in that it may increase transmissibility but not severity and likely does not influence mRNA vaccine immunity.

this kind of shit it another valid reason to keep transmission at a minimum.. one of these does a crazy mutation and we will all be eating dog food

A lot of really big IPO's happened recently so this one was kind of overshadowed. I find this company really interesting and the founder and some of the backing it's getting makes me really interested. Stock ticker ABCL.

AbCellera isn’t a biotech, but it provides an artificial-intelligence-powered R&D platform that helps speed up the drug discovery process. The company, which is backed by Peter Thiel, the co-founder of PayPal Holdings (PYPL) and Palantir Technologies (PLTR), is also profitable. AbCellera reported $1.9 million in income for the nine months ended Sept. 30, compared with a loss of $570,000 for the period a year ago.

The fact that this company is already making a profit and is backed by entities like the Gates Foundation to me means a lot. I think the crossing of AI and Biotech is really interesting and could yield some big gains over the next 10-20 years.

IPO'd at 20 but opened at 60 and faded to 47. I started a position at 46. This is the type of company that could go up 500% in the next 5 years and people wouldn't be surprised IMO.

Alternating between covered calls and cash secured puts is called the wheel strategy. Just do that for the foreseeable future. On a good stock like Apple it's basically impossible to lose money on that

Familiar with tbe option wheel. On hold with the bank because these POS wont allow me to sell puts online. Might consider switching to interactive broker if they don't support cash secured puts.
