I made $300,000 off just the house i am living in off a $450,000 investment in the last 6 years.
I wish my stock did that well.

Real estate is almost always money. I need the capital or get somebody to invest because I could flip the fuck out houses in this area.

Figuring out options. Been selling weekly covered calls on AAL. Sold one at $17 and bought back when it got to 17.5. My call only appreciated by like $0.2 on that movement so I bought it back at a loss and sold my shares at a greater profit.

I'm realizing now I should have bought the call back at a loss and sold a higher covered call and just ridden for longer.

I like covered calls because as long as you're confident the company won't go out of business you can constantly reduce your basis for profit, and when it goes up the call almost never goes up by the same amount if it's close to expiry so you can always buy it back and take the win.

Idk, it's definitely been a leaning process.

Also figuring out how to do more complex stuff. Opened an Iron Condor on Intel expiring at the end of the week. As long as it finishes the week between $51.27 and $48.73 I make money.

I expect to have missed something and to lose money because this is the first time I've done this lol

Thinking of going all in on PLTR. It has everything to have a huge inflated price for years in this market. Tech, memes, mostly serves governments and is moving into private, data analytics.

I'm just playing with my fun money so I could affird to... Not risking my house or anything.

If idiots can pump GME this could hit 50000% gains.

Because of its meme status it would not take one good news article saying it got X contract for it to jump 10% + again. I mean the value of the company jumped billions of dollars on some small 40 million dollar contract. That's meme status right there.

Yeah this. Stay away from stonks.

Awhile back I talked about why people should have some small % of wealth in alternatives like btc. It’s ripping higher once again.

Not saying buy here but look for an opportunity to diversify. There are too many institutional funds that are taking btc seriously now, it’s no longer some fringe pie in the sky store of wealth.

i was for sure thinking it would dump immediately at 20k. i do agree a floor is set due to institutional buying. it would take a big event to see 4 figure btc again.

prob will take 10-20% off the table from the buys i did in march/april. been a nice run up in btc/eth this year and it was one of the safest buys other than stabbing random tech equities/funds at the same time

Hmmmm. It seems to have a ton of up side still. Data analytics is going to keep growing forever and they seem poised to take advantage. The down side is theyre competing with Google.

Still think I'm gonna drop a good amount in it and camp on it for 10 years.

I have around 800 shares at an average $14. I agree with you that PLTR could grow substantially. Great leadership (Paypall founder), tech heavy, involved with gov't has me thinking this could moon.

I'll be adding more if the stock dips below 23$ - have the order already setup. I've read up some of the funny DD's on /R WSB and i like what PLTR does. I think it could moon.

I can't seem to pull the trigger on any options, as it's very volatile. I'm going for the long term. No reason to think why this stock couldn't be 100+ in 5 years.

Honestly the worst case I see is the whole thing gets bought by Google in a few years

Yep, I would imagine that it's very easy to absorb PLTR into one of the monster tech's out there. Wouldn't mind that either.

I'll be in it for awhile. I've gotten in cheap enough to stash this one away for awhile and see where it goes.
