Also a fun fact on telomeres - having bad acne as a teenager is a sign of having long telomeres, which explains the observed pattern of acne sufferers experiencing fewer visible signs of ageing in later life

My dad had severe acne in his younger years and at 65 his skin is like a 45 year old. I had it too, though to a lesser extent, but I'm only 26 so time will tell. Every cloud... B)

Buddy of mine had very severe acne, but he also got diagnosed with Huntington's last summer. Don't think the telomeres are gonna help him much :(

I did dump my Tyson foods on recent allegations that plant mangers had winner take all cash pools on how many workers would get the Rona while on the production line.

No real loss to me other than I saw upside with recent increase in production but the downside due to a PR nightmare in today's social justice world could be far greater.

This EV boom is out of control. GM, Volkswagen, Toyota, all these companies are not about to just go away because these no name EV companies start developing a vehicle. Tesla has had a good head start but to think NIO, XYRO, and all these other ones making 700%+ gains are going to take up any share of the market I think is a mistake. Short term pump and dump.

Most of these companies are developing their own EV’s and unlike the meme companies they have decades of actual car production, logistics, supply chains, etc.

Personally if I were to invest in the EV craze i much rather go for something like Daimler.

Electric cars are still fucking stupid when the apparatus that powers them still relies heavily on dirty fuels. There needs to be a much greater emphasis on solar and converting large parts of the grid to solar.

Company "Here's a scetch of my new EV"

Market "What do you think that's worth"

Company "At least 65 billion"

Market "Let me counter you with 80 billion"

It's a process that wont happen over night. Solar is quickly replacing coal in the United states

A few months back Nikola was trading at like 70 dollars, which made their market cap larger than Ford. As I read about it was like.. here is a company that has never produced or sold a single product is bigger than a company which has been producing cars for a century...

There is some proprietary battery tech but ultimately I don't think that baseline tech is really that hard to replicate. I'm of the mind that the legacy carmakers can also build this tech.

You can buy meme stocks that are trading like 1 billion x their sales or a company like Daimler (owner of Mercedes) which is rolling out 10 electric models by 2022.

https://www.daimler.com/sustainability/climate/electric-offensive.html

To me, it's an easy choice, especially considering the fact that Mercedes has gotten cars 'right' for like 50 years.

Bought some MSFT 215 December calls today. Think a bounce to 215 is coming considering Microsoft has been flat for 3 months.
