Oh okay. So a nice amount, but not something that's gonna set you up for life.

Probably just pull your initial investment plus whatever amount you want and let the rest ride. If you really think it's going to hit $1 based on memes, keep it in, if you don't, transition it to something else.

Yeah not gonna be a millionaire overnight but it's a good start.

I don't know too much about stocks in general, I follow mainstream stuff but I don't feel comfortable about investing larger amounts into things I'm not sure about. The only thing I'm pretty familiar with is Tesla, I own a Tesla and a very good friend of mine has $60k(today's rate) worth of shares in Tesla currently so I might put some money into that but I feel like crypto is my "field" so I'll have the majority of my investment portfolio in crypto.

However, if we hit 1 doge = 1 lambo, I'll buy everyone a lambo in this thread.

How much you holding?

If you're holding hundreds of thousands, cash out like half, reserve 35% for the IRS, invest in something stable with good returns like an ETF to secure your future so no matter what happens down the road you're covered, and do whatever you want with the rest. Keep it in doge, or hookers and blow. Doesn't matter.

35%???

38000 coins currently.

I live in China and pay taxes in the UK/Europe.

I would like to take out my initial investment + 10% and let the rest roll until I can afford a house outright somewhere in Europe(Italy, France, Croatia).

Also married so hookers and coke won't be on my to do list, if anything, I really want a lambo at some point in my life after the house thing.

I'm originally Croatian. My plan is going back there and buying a house once doges/eth's allow me to :D

All the people who are going to be millionaires off of this meme coin really drives home that having money doesn't mean you are smart or competence or in any way better than anyone else. I'm honestly just starting to resign myself 2 financial markets not even having the appearance of Sanity anymore.

Awesome, yeah I feel like that buying property is probably the safest thing one can invest in(unless you buy something in the Middle East where US bombs go brrrrr) so that's why it's #1 on my list, if I can outright own a few properties around the globe before I turn 35, that would be great and would be the ideal start for an early retirement.

Obviously goes without saying that if I do get property in Croatia, it's gonna be close to the sea because priorities hahahaha

To be fair, my investment in this was purely throw away money. I've got most of my investments in mild to moderate risk with maybe 15-25% in high risk. Took out 15k 2 years ago to play with on some crypto and individual stocks and I've done well.

I think the facade that finance is difficult and you need to be a pro is fading with all of these apps making trades easier. People are realizing that these professionals have been doing this for years and now your average Joe is getting a piece of the pie.

professionals also charge an arm and a leg for their ‘services’ which is mostly pressing buttons for you to buy and sell

Absolutely lol. When I worked at a hospital the 401k we were invested in barely broke even from 2009 to 2016. The average professional is only as good as the average of the market, and then they charge fees.

takes knowledge to press buttons.
more than 90% of my portfolio is in hands of professionals and I don't even have access to it right now.
it's on 12 months contract during which period they work with ur crypto. minimum you get after 12 months is double of what you gave. often it goes up more.

mate gave them 0.5 btc 3 years ago, came out with 1.3 after interest% they take.
we're doing it for last 2 years with Eth, and it's working great so far
