Im still not convinced on the Tesla story tbh. People are such on a sugar high with this stock. The electric car adoption has been slow imo and they have to prove that going forward that it actually will be as high as they're promising.

I love Elon and i think in the long term it'll do fine but just crazy the 180 sentiment shift in like a year.

Like they announced they are diluting the stock by 5 billion, that's not a bullish signal imo. To me that's insiders realizing they can capitalize on the fomo and dilute at some crazy valuation.

as they say: be first smarter or cheat

elon (in terms of mass production) was first and he is damn smart. cheating well there’s nothing wrong (imo) wanting a lower stock price so you can buy more lol that was the biggest bull signal of all time

and like Bazi said there are so many outside factors which influence TSLA stock price. until a true competitor emerges Musk is running rampant in so many cutting edge industries

fundamentals dont make sense anymore (nor have they in a while) so best to ride the trends and not get caught getting too hungry

I don't think demand for electric will crash. I think like most people that we will see more and more electric cars on the streets. But stocks like this one usually get valued based on compound annual growth rate meaning market thinks the market share of this company and product adoption is going to be so high that the moon valuation is justified.

If Tesla can't prove that growth rate through sales in subsequent quarters, market will quickly smack the stock to reality. Like it's not enough to just grow, your grow has to either match or exceed current expectation. The stock could lose 30% even though it grew and made more money.

i was under the impression Tesla is currently limited by production, not demand aka sales. i dont see a reason they wont continue to smash sales given that their production can only get better and better over time.

Should every child in the USA be born with $7,000 indexed that can only be released at 65?

I was reading Bill Ackmans equality gap take.

He didn't mention or the article decided to omit it, how much it would cost on average if no money was given. I'm sure I can find social security costs from 65 to death though on average.

Would product costs just inflate since everyone would have on average significantly more wealth?

yes, much better use of taxpayer dollars or much more optimized form fucking social security. and release it at 50 imo

social security should have been put in a damn index fund not the piggie bank lol. too late for that now

and as for cost increases sure inflation would rise but no way can they jack it up since funds have to be available to spend to actually purchase more expensive inputs and goods
