Yeah ive been really annoyed with them. I’ve already funded my td acct partially, waiting more funds to settle to move more.

I’ll probably keep RH for crypto, maybe move to coinbase. I already have a coinbase app on my phone.

Just keep the Robin Hood to test yourself with some 1 to 5/10k yolo challenges with gambling allowance

That only thing I use RH for, otherwise trash application. Was down on the biggest day of the year, inexcusable

TDA is head and shoulders superior. It’s not as sexy as an interface but who cares, you can’t beat the execution times and don’t have to wait precious time to get the orders filled. Usually are insta without having to short yourself a nickel per contract like RH just to execute a trade

Iirc Robinhood doesn’t count crypto as part of the cash + stocks needed to get around the day trading rule, not sure if that was your issue.

A shame they had issues, today was a decent trading day for spy.

That was it tbh. I guess it’s my fault for not knowing but they do a shit job at articulating that’s the issue. Like it was a dozen emails back and forth before the said that’s what got me flagged

Added some Roku at that 148 support today. Will add more every 4-5 dollars down.

Workhorse might be the next big stock, they are a contender in the 6billion dollar investment USPS is spending on a new vehicle fleet. Out of the 4 companies for it, workhorse is the only electric vehicle company. Also they are based out of Ohio.

USPS is supposed to announce who wins the contract before sept 30th

Vaccine news out of Russia.

I think there's a lot of good news coming when it comes to vaccines that will serve as catalysts. A bunch of companies already went into their second stage. Take notice how the market is behaving. Cyclicals popping while tech pulling back. Good news on vaccine front means return to normal so we will see massive sector rotations. Might be wise to throw a few bucks in names that got woodsheded. Airlines, hotels, cruises, etc. If you think about it, there's a ton of pent-up demand for some of these as well. Like the quarters after vaccines start to be massively administered, you might see some monstrous earnings from those beaten up names as people go and visit friends and family or take that delayed vacation. I've been wrong about tech for a while but imo many of these companies are relatively expensive and they could pull back significantly as money flows to better 'value' as we return to normal.

Vaccine only means back to normal if it's

1) safe
2) effective
3) we can make enough of it
and
4) gets full deployment

By all means, throw a few bucks, but a vaccine is only a magic bullet if it meets all those criteria, and the first 2 aren't guaranteed since they are skipping a lot of steps due to the emergency need.

in other news microstrategy (MSTR) put all of its available cash into btc (effectively causing crypto to sharply decline today) after doing a stock buy-back with the other 50% of its cash

a very interesting move given it may be the largest non-bank public firm with such a brazen foray into crypto. the ceo is a known wildcard too
