After seeing a couple of friends tax documents after they did day trading for about 6 months i said hell no with that. I have only sold out of 1 position since i started. That was Nikola. Besides Tesla and Doge im in 6 other positions currently. I want to be considered long term before i sell any of my big gain stocks so i can pay less taxes.

If they are paying high taxes then they are making good money so it shouldn’t matter as long as they don’t take to much loses... i haven't took any loses i just average down till they green I usually take smaller position at first..your missing out on a lot of scalping cash by being afraid to pay taxes especially how the market is right now... so many people losing most of their 2020 gains because they are holding lol sell high buy on dips because after every good run it will gap down... leaving a lot of money on the table imo

Maybe i will give it a shot. Do you have any favorites you watch consistently for the quick turns?

Bngo nio uec eyes ears ocgn some that I did well with recently also ctrm and zom but here lately they have been going down a lot... I like stocks that are up and down a lot kind of riskier, but I take a smaller position at first that way I can average down heavier when they decline... tirx was my top pick for today and I also think it will be a good premarket runner if you have some settled funds to play around with I’m waking up early for that one... market has been kind of shit lately so I only buy these stocks when they are already down 5-10% for the day

Wow. Tirx got killed today. What was the reason for that. I was looking at fgen and rlx. Your opinion?

Not sure not familiar with stock I just scalping on the technicals I think it will be green today tho we shall see

Might try running regressions on the historical data. Lot of easy portfolio optimization tooling built within excel, and yahoo finance has the csvs.

Just don’t become like the boomers that get excited when their portfolio makes a 5% gain in a year on the safest low risk stocks possible
