I did this with Phillips 66. I don't recommend this entry point anymore but there certainly are oil stocks that have been dragged down below their value due to over pessimistic outlooks.

If you look at the segmented income statements many of these companies are growing renewable energy segments. Renewable or clean energy.

With the amount of boomers ready to die and large estates to cover the fees of funeral homes I have been trying to find a decent funeral home stock.

Are there any oil companies you know of that are particularly well suited or already invested in green energy? If the oil company doesn't have a solid transition strategy for the next 10-20 years I wouldn't touch them with a 10 foot pole.

Not within that time frame, most are touting 2050. Things like PSX and Suncore were just within my normal strategy of trying to make 30% and dump. Longer term ill keep my eyes on Shell but they are also touting 2050 so a far cry from a 10 year transition.

I think a lot of the oil companies stock prices that were hit due to a a negative immediate outlook with the airline industries have largely recovered. I do not see myself going long with oil, I only intended to buy and sell due to over pessimism in the short term.

The pessimism was well warranted initially and still is, its just we all have to try to adapt to the markets over exuberance in this recovery from March 2021s dip. Makes for okay short term plays on stocks that might not have a great long term outlook.

Boeing is still quite a ways off its pre-covid levels, and is so important to the military and airline industry as a whole that it's basically risk free lol

Got back into my Boeing position at 200 after selling at 230 earlier this year. Probably keep it as a core portfolio component, no good reason to sell.

I have a basket of space stocks and LMT and BA are the two large caps that I’m happy with holding long term and view as the backbone of that portfolio segment

It would have to be highest since last March to profit off that and they're trading pretty sideways. Do they have news coming up or something?

Once I get home I can answer this one much better, but it was trading $60 before rates went up last month.

Also stock idea that came up I found interesting
