people that predicted 5 years ago that bitcoin will hit 20-30k in 2020/2021, are the same people predicting ethereum hitting the same price by 2025/2026.
i mean, market is unpredictable to a certain level, but those are the people making millions in crypto.
my friend is following one of them on social media and from jan2020 to jan2021, he made 35k out of 2.5k by just doing what they're saying.
on eth specifically im a bit skeptical that it has as much upside as BTC. and i see the psychological barrier of 5k as a serious issue that it may linger on for some time. but i know its going to get there eventually if it continues on its current tech path. ETH long term still scares me a bit, it is an inbetween crypto. it doesnt have the brand name BTC has, and is a leader in block chain, but if it gets caught from behind by another blockchain project it could end up being a dud by comparison.
grats to your friend tho, i follow a few big guys in the space and they've indeed helped me get some good entrance and exit spots for long trades. and i could always be wrong, it might break 5k then moon to 10k in short order. depends how late in a bull season it will happen im sure.
