Should be crashing soon when all the people who thought it was easy money realise they are dumb and mass sell mining equipment.

Depends. In some locations electricity is fairly cheap and they are able to mine bitcoins for less than half they are worth. They can also move operations to where electricity is cheap, as some have done. I believe they have set-up shop in some small washington towns to get access to cheap electricity.

I dont know how quickly the cost to mine a bitcoin will approach the worth of one bitcoin though, but when it does then maybe you'll see some selling of mining equipment

I might announce it for sale and wait a few months and buy a 1080ti when price drop.

Some extra money could be sweet for my current project. Trying to buy a westfalia to restore it and hit the road.

Lol countimg on america "realizing its dumb" is a great investment

theres a time factor to this, and in between that range of unaware to realization is where the true profit is made.

Microcenter still sells gpu for normal price...

so if you live near one you can sell the 1070 and pick up a 1080ti at regular price now. In fact, you could do it over and over and over and over and over and over and over again
