I already adressed this issue .. it's not about btc but us gov as usual.
no idea where u "addressed this issue"
is not a us gov thing either
if someone purchasing flowers on valentine's day or whatever then the store owner cashing that bitcoin out into fiat and after a few exchanges of hands that bitcoin ends up involved into some criminal activity or whatever
that bitcoin is now officially "tainted" leading to investigation of the store owner, of the one that purchased the flowers and it's guilt by association even if literally did nothing wrong
that information is now public, the originating wallet is flagged as "linked to criminal activities" even tho it was literally just to buy regular flowers at a regular flower shop
and let's say, there's still like 2 bitcoin on that wallet, well, now exchanges are aware of it and won't accept funds from it
if trying to send them elsewhere, maybe the transaction wont even be mined due to those "compliants mining pool", which ofc is highly centralized on bitcoin

You're the one delusional here, thinking xmr will be one day mass adopted via DEX lmao. The avg citizen will never use these things, too complicated. it is how it is and you have to deal with it.
like i explained in previous post, nothing complicated for end user if the UX is done right then it's seemless, the tech thing is happening in the backend, end user is just being greated with a one click easy button
even easier than cex actually, cause cex gotta do all those extra steps for kyc scanning social security numbers, passport, your last colonoscopy scan, do the hoolahoop on 1 foot with a written note that you agree to the terms of services
sounds like you're the delulu one if u thinking that cex are good UX, and then when all that charade of kyc is done, when wanting to purchase something or send to someone "withdrawals temporarily blocked, try again later" (deposits still open tho), how is that any good for mass adoption? it's not, cex are literally the opposite of what's good for mass adoption

Other than that, many others confidential tokens are much faster than xmr.
what's faster than 0-conf? xmr is already instant with 0-conf, like actually literally instant

Lightning network is maybe just a first step towards better scalability for btc, nothing is fixed, even monero network has regular updates.
yup, updates are good, that's the thing tho, bitcoin refused to evolved, it could have, satoshi had great ideas to integrate, unfortunately it never happened since it has been hijacked and the development of it is pretty much "it's the way it is, it shouldnt evolve"
layer 2 solutions are flawed, am all up for bitcoin improving its layer 1 but it wont, that's why the chain split with bch few years ago, because the btc maxi in the cult don't want it to evolve, at all
