Several different variables to consider. What is your income, how much debt do you have, and how many dependents?

I don't bother with life insurance. I have no children and no debt. I would be leaving sufficient funds to my wife in the event of my death anyway. I don't see the point of it if you have no debt or dependants.

Do you have either of those things, or are considering some type of debt instrument that will require you to have life insurance? Does your employer offer group-term life insurance already?

Agree with this, 2 reasons I would get life insurance:
1) If I had kids
2) If my wife was not working and I was the sole income for the household. Which would probably only happen if I had kids
