So I thought I would start a topic for potential investing tips and opportunities. Why not help each other make some money and have fun doing it?

So here's a little bit about myself:
I have been investing since I was about 10 years old. My starting balance was about $3000 that came from a mixture of savings, cash birthday gifts, and a generous $1000 start up donation from my grandmother. Obviously back then I didn't really know what I was doing so I just tossed my money in a few different stocks that just happened to end up paying off big time. I remember purchasing XOM, WMT, and MCD. I don't know what lead me to those decisions but it worked out really well for me! With the help of my parents monitoring my account I was able to have a balance of nearly $15,000 by the time I was 17. It wasn't until around them that I became seriously interested in investing. I definitely had a nack for it because my senior year of high school I came in first place for my stock market game. Since then I have made several other extremely lucrative investments and am sitting on a portfolio of well over $20,000. I am posting this topic so I can help others with my suggestions, as well as receive suggestions from other intelligent respectful people.

- When giving a stock tip, please provide the quote symbol, the full name of the company, the current trade value, a brief explanation of the company, what you suggest people do with it (I.E. Buy, Short sell etc.) and any other information that might be beneficial.

I will make the first tip in an example format to get things going!

My first tip is "PBR"
Petrobras is a semi-public Brazilian multinational energy corporation headquartered in Rio de Janeiro.
The current trade value is $16.54
I am suggesting this stock as a BUY

There are a few reasons I am suggesting this as a BUY and they are as follows:

- Firstly, I would like to make it known that I purchased this stock about 3 moths ago when it was worth $14.75 and ended up selling it at just under $20. I then purchased it back today for $16.49 per share.

- Over the past 7 days this stock has fallen from $20.60 to as low as just over $16 due to allegations of corruption within the company. (Paying for votes in this upcoming October election). Although allegations like this seem scary, the stock has already taken it's hit and will not likely fall anymore because of this. In my opinion this stock will recover from this point.

- Although energy stocks have taken a hit lately, Petrobras is posting record productions. They have just opened several new extraction points and found large amounts of oil.

- Petrobras has a market cap of 60 billion and is massively undervalued. The Brazilian economy depends on this company. It is not going anywhere any time soon.

- Brazil is known for having a very nationalized economy, this means that PBR keeps most of their production within the country with reduced prices. However, there is potential for this to change with the October elections drawing near. This company has great potential to become an exporting power house.

- Warren Buffet is invested in this company for countless millions.

Final piece of advice: Be careful when people are aggressive and aggressive when people are being careful. This stock is a BUY in my book. I am open to criticisms!
