Do you all pay a ton for your Automotive Insurance?

I've been shopping around.

Yea my car insurance went up like crazy (Allstate insurance)

Damn inflation

I dropped All State for Geico, saving like 40% with same limits. They even give you a cancelation template so you don't gotta make old agent butt hurt.

Yeah I've been with Geico for like 10+ years, way cheaper. And you can customize your insurance a lot just on the website. no complaints

Mine def went up but mine is bundled with home and properties going up so hard to differentiate which is from which

I have all my toys and previous vehicle through TD, Meloche Monnex. I sold my vehicle in 2020 in favour of just using a company vehicle full time. At that time I was paying $1,250 or so on a 2019 Subaru Crosstrek so not exactly an expensive vehicle but quite new.

I am sure rates have gone up since probably 20%+ but it was relatively cheap for full coverage.

Went up quite a bit this past year, no one to blame but myself though... sports car, not stock and speeding tickets. Should go back to normal in 2 years when the demerit points are off my driving record.

My buddies in the GTA has gone up due to car thefts being so prominent. Pretty unfortunate and the only control you have over it is basically to get models not easily susceptible to theft or undesirable models which typically are the ones not susceptible to theft. Which eliminates things like the very popular Lexus RX series and Honda crv... Very popular reliable vehicles people would like to own..

Just about everything with a Honda or Acura logo gets stolen around here. The best anti-theft seems to be a manual transmission at this point, since the thieves are mostly kids.

Wire a three way kill switch to your horn. Then when they try to steal it honk honk.
