Rate was 400 a few days ago before the new gold sink…

I got Billions to trade; but not below the new content release rate.

What gold sink? If you're referring to data chips that's just gold re-circulation, a sink implies gold actually gets spent and leaves the game, I've seen nothing like this in the patch unless I've missed something?

New rate

An old gold sink (global buffs) got more relevant wtih the new corp buffs.

I don’t see how it can be recirculating? You spend gold on data chips, and use data chips for XP of masteries. When you use the data chip it’s gone.
Gold gone, data chip gone, XP gained. Where is the recirculation?

Not trying to argue, just don’t understand how it can be circulating.

I follow ya now how it’s not a gold sink. It did bring more people to be interested to buy though.

Where did the gold go? Into the pockets of whoever sold the chip. Unless there's an in-game NPC shop that converts gold to data chips that I've missed, there's no sink introduced recently.

EDIT: Adding to that, it's a fairly normal misconception of what a sink actually is anyway.
