Upcoming Capital Ship Changes

The ROI patch is almost finished, but I wanted to announce a few upcoming capital ship changes so that everyone can be aware.

These will come hopefully this week, probably in the next few days.

Executioner will swap its weapon type to Laser.
Leviathan will swap its weapon type to Kinetic.
The Science Vessel will gain +1 Secondary Module Slot and lose 1 Tertiary Module Slot.

If you already have a Science Vessel unlocked, when the changes go through, your modules will be unequipped, so please remember to re-equip the modules you want before running it in missions!

Anyone else looking forwards to exploring space as a main activity soon?
Beyond roll out was a bit shakey but the v38d - ROI UPDATE PART 1 helped guide us to where ele is headed.

edit- Injections are being changed and refunded, minus stasis.
I believe zan said midus would be Beyond level 350 to match what we're at now.
correct me if i'm mistaken.

The second part of the Beyond patch is almost here!

Thank you all for being so patient with me as I've had some very unexpected personal things to deal with.

Best ways to prepare:

Use up any remaining incursion runs, as they will no longer be applicable.
Use up any remaining injections that are not Stasis. Unused injections (both already-injected, as well as in inventory) will be compensated in Gold.
Save up Beyond Mission attempts. You will be able to use them to earn Incursion Maps.



Let's see what we've been waiting for, this is a big change to the games activities.

Beyond is a resource sink, including gold.
I imagine people will be excited for the booster exchange.
Just to find out they need even more gold to push beyond.

Injections have been converted into gold.

I didn't get that much from this and had millions of injections active + in my inventory. <_<

edit- Character -> Renown is where the new buff system is.

Yeah,.. it more or less changed the game to start new based around beyond.

Which means it took a incomplete system and replaced it with another incomplete system.

After the free 25,000 renown runs out for people next week.
They will start to realize the sink that is beyond may not be worth investing in.

Pretty much every person not in the top 100 on the Beyond Leaderboards will be making a lot less gold/resources.

QS did it way better with their catacomb system...

Qs also goated because you only need to check it when discord bot pings you. Ele is needs to be checked way too often
