If they consider fg to be monetary in the eyes of the law then yes absolutely pd2 mods can get in trouble.

They are allowed to make the mod on premise that they gain no monetary gain except through donations

I wonder how many people really got banned. Not everyone is online right now, so will be a lot more probably

Jsp has a RLT section where you can trade your FG for real life items. I think this puts fg in a monetary category.

The mod's aren't even commenting about it in #pd2-general-chat. They just muted like 10-15 people who were discussing it.
