Hell Unleashed mod: Patch & Ladder reset Saturday, February 11th.

This mod is focused towards group multiplayer in a manner of which a group of friends or players can start fresh new characters and fight through the forces of hell side by side. As multiplayer is the prime focus here, solo play in the sense of progressing onward is not recommended. Solo play is used mainly as a means of treasure hunting, catching up in experience or refining gear and skills. Those purely interested in solo play will find a huge obstacle in bosses, as they were designed mainly for multiplayer combat. We recommend parties of 2+ players for this mod.

is ssf doable on this mod? Seen it before but would rather play single player

It is doable, but VERY hard. You'll need huge game knowledge and patience to pull it off. It's definitely worth trying out.

This is hands down the best version of d2 ever made. Getting ready to do a play through with 5 others via tcp/ip. Been years since I played this and I can’t wait.

Hell unleashed was my favorite mod years ago. The reason I and many others stopped playing is because it takes a programmer to install it properly. Every time I used to install it, it took hours fixing 1 error after another. It's been years since I played. Is the installation any easier? Do you still need a CD? Cause many computers don't even have drives anymore, including mine.

Just spent an hour on FaceTime fixing an install with my buddy. It’s always a pain but it’s so worth it.

Luckily my brother is a visionary and saved the working edition on a flash drive so that’s how we play it now. It’s just like putting a cd in to play lol.
