500 people online the other day in 400 games lol

80% or more are just bot games

Game is completely dead

They killed the season when decided to bot-hunt under the position of bastions of honor and law, even though their mods have already been caught selling stuff here for FG... No bots, slow economy and hardly currency to buy and sell top-tier stuff for the most valuable high-runes. The mod is cool, it added maps which are great addition to the original game and they managed to balance the builds bringing more stuff to play, but the admins are really egocentric and restrictive about botting and any level of cheating (maphack for instance), and by that, players are gone.

You will hardly find someone that is willing to farm like a no-life for 12/14 hours per day doing maps and hoarding stuff to see all the effort put into characters and items go puff after the season reset, so the player base just went to PoE or other A-RPGs that at least doesn't delete your stuff at the end of the season.

There's a psychologic phenomenon that relates to that which is called: "Small Power Syndrome", which is when individuals have some kind of small power positions on specific niche and they apply that power to feed their ego or something. Not saying that botting is right, although it's not utterly wrong for the fun, not a capital thing, but the treat botters and small misdemeanors with a harsh attitude like they're the gods of immaculacy and purity... Tell me they don't make any money from that and that Senseisuckmyballs doesn't use it as a platform to his twitch account and I shut myself.

So at the end they went from 14k to... which part are bots still.

It’s more dead now than normal because the season is getting old. I am sure they will have a decent playerbase the first several weeks at reset like they have the past 2 seasons.

Yeah, for sure. I wouldn’t bother playing it right now. Them not supporting non-ladder characters was a really, really dumb move. I would wait until reset.

They said on the official discord that it wasn't supported because of a bug... maybe on S3 or S4 they get this fixed and start to run an off-season. If so, I would come back and play partially legit, lul.
