Corrupted items are when you cube a Worldstone Shard (drops randomly at anytime in Hell difficulty) and an item. Pretty much any piece of gear, rings and ammys can be corrupted.

This. They also drop in NM but only in Worldstone 1, 2, 3 or Baal’s Throne Room. They used to anyways. I don’t know if they patched that out
