For someone like me coming from closed bnet thinking about trying out mods for the first time (in like a very long heile) this subforum doesnt really help to gain an overview of what mods exist and what are the Pros/cons, whats the Main differente, is trading a thing?,... of each mod. Does this exist sonewhere (on jsp)?

only for players that like to play alone or just with a couple of friends, i could suggest more mods.
these mods are not played on the internet as much as PoD and PD2, but still they are very enjoyable:

Eastern Sun, Snej & Reign of Shadow

they are not as crazy as Median, but still not plain vanilla d2

never played PD2 yet. so i dont know...
i think that PD2 is traded here on d2jsp.... and they created an own website for PoD

They can't hold on their own rules, expecting you to grind everything by yourself. PoD looks more stable. Not fcked up drop tables.
Basically if you join their Discord, be careful with anything you say, they might ban you on there and in-game for whatever reason.

If you don't mind single player or just online co-op, you could also play the Grim Dawn mod called Reign of Terror. It remade diablo 2 in the Grim Dawn engine and you can hybrid your classes. New items, a bit of end game, etc.

Pretty enjoyable as well.
