Can someone explain to me these points:

1) Senpai gathered more than 10 000 USD the first month only from Patreon (excluding donations, bits, twitch etc) with 300 Patrons. Yet, somehow he managed to break almost all builds in the game (some OP some unplayable), and most of the loot tables (wraights didnt drop loot for the first two weeks, then ubers didnt drop torches, lesser ubers still barely drop any organs, the list goes on). And no trade site, servers were pure trash, nonstop dupe, nonstop bugs, rollbacks etc. A network engineer / devops did a calculation on stream claiming the infrastructure doesn't cost more than 1000 USD / mo. How is this possible?

2) After all the problems and every single weekend unplayable, instead of dropping donators, the guy is up to 774 Patrons right now. I noticed a trend - the more the servers go down - the more the donations go up? How is THIS possible?


3) Next one is a question. Do you think he understands what's going on and is milking the community for all he can, or is he actually naive enough to think his season will last more than January (when PoD and PoE are out)? If the second, why are his loot tables so low, he is for sure not getting a 'long season', might as well give people enough loot to actually not need to RMT, instead of trying to ban people (see blizzard's success on that topic, although they make money with new cd keys but thats another topic).

Somehow this whole PD2 deal is very illogical to me...

It's ran by somebody highly inexperienced with literally no real-world background (childish and never had a job besides streaming to 20 people)

I advise everybody to keep an eye out as they have a bunch of bait accounts posting trades on here and banning people after collecting their FG and then selling it for real money.

People were using VMs to spoof their IP/MAC addresses to trade safely via mule accounts. The only solution he found was to lock the accounts of all "banned" CD keys until they purchased new ones. This lets them tie one account per key.
Really has me wondering which DB he's querying from to cross-reference these keys.

Nonetheless, shady admin and moderators all together. Censoring all over the place makes doesn't help its case either. About 6k players sipping on that Kool-Aid though.

The balance also sucks and I don't see PvP ever being a thing on there.

There is no "database" it's pretty simple.

If your CDkeys are:
- 1111-1111-1111-1111 and 2222-2222-2222-2222 your game will generate a unique identifier for example ABCDEF12345

If your CDkeys are:
- 9999-9999-9999-9999and 8888-8888-8888-8888 your game will generate a unique identifier for example QWERTY98765

When you register/login with an account it stores this unique identifier with your account name.

Now if there are multiple accounts with that key with the same IP but none of them have been logged in at the same time then you can assume that user just has multiple accounts, which is fine.

Now if there are multiple active connections OR 10+ accounts with different IPs... then it's pretty safe to assume they are using either shared CDKeys OR pirated CDkeys.

However yes, I agree. The guy doesn't even have the balls to show his face on camera lol
