Ya that one and ya I grabbed her in a1 norm and she legitnprob carried me through most of norm and I just kinda stuck with her

One of the buffing mercs should do for you as I assume you don't need a tank in a frontline?
Later, you can even get abjurer from a3 for fauzt.
Just with a craft gear, that guy can solo fauzt as you're walking with him.
But I might need shittons of shrines for lightning dmg, and gear full of -lightres +lightdmg.
There's a good guide with all the Merc breakpoints including fcr and dmg pierce for abjurer. Will try to find when I get home

the assures bane ring is actually a ring you cube from pieces that drop in duncraig to get the purify skill. couple bosses only get dmg from said skill

went for a 120 charm got a s/s of one of the bosses didnt want to risk stop attacking to get the 2nd boss s/s but i completed it
