Well its a learning lesson then to un-train that instinct to call someone that. I grew up in the 90's and we said it as a general semi-insult without meaning to convey anything about a person's sexuality, but obviously times change. As a 13 year old, I could get away with that explanation, but we are all obviously adults now and should know better. Sorry bro that happened...
