See? That is the negativity that you keep spewing. Then you wonder why you aren't successful at getting people to try project D2.
You could just try letting people know you have tried it and liked it, and they may want to try it too. A little self reflection my help you see things more clearly.

im also playing there and im feeling a good gaming experience. few days ago i tried and i liked the server so i will keep playing there.
the screen resolution is a good point. they changed some uniques/set/runewords stats and some runeword recipes, but best thing is the fact that there are a lot of real players, no bots, and people its not as greedy as on bnet.

@op i understand why you made this topic cuz i also think that server is better than bnet but everyone is free to play the realm they want, so instead of writing here sentences like "this server is better than yours because this and that" , you should say that there are some new features and invite the guys to give it a chance

i dont know if talking about this private server violates any jsp rule so, i apologise if its not alowed to talk about this on this site / subforum

The thinig is, everyone who likes pvp can't / shouldn't join any other server, since for me, the matchups in bnet are pretty balanced, apart from few exceptions.
And everything that you guys change in your realms, will unbalance the pvp matchups. I've seen few nice / funny looking D2 projects, but in the end it was
pretty obvious that those couldn't be used for pvp because the ppl tried to "improve" the game. And thats the part where it becomes tricky if you try to not
unbalance the pvp matchups.

And another bad part about those projects is: d2 has a rly small player base. If you make 293847234 different diablo games now, 1 for pvp, 1 for pvm in act1, 1 for pvm a2-4 and so on,
you divide the already small player base again and make it even smaller.

That being said, up to everyone for himself to choose, but me for myself prefer the original game which is known best and which is balanced best imo.

you are cute... as pvp in d2 is balanced at all beside leagues with dedicated rules

not talking about bvb, zvz sry. idk how it is there, but u can enlighten us if you want.

What i mean here to clear it up even for ppl like :
I've seen some modified versions where the guys took away the delay from foh, orb and meteor.
Might be fun for a moment, but for pvp that would be absolute garbage xD

My opinion is that i love classic d2 too bad blizzard doesnt spend time to fix the issues instead making d3 d4 and so on meaby to d10 in dew years.

thats probably the worst point about this server. its made for people that preffer pvm than pvp, items are balanced to give another playing experience on pvm
anyways the only thing i wanted to say is that everybody is free choosing the realm to play on. private servers have another features, some positive or some negative, depending on wich kind of player you are.

Idk where you guys got the idea that pd2 didn't have bots. It literally has multiple dupes for it already (from the stacking mechanic, namely) and people running old versions of my scripts on it.
Again, if you're trying to sell the idea, not doing a good job. Put the emphasis on the QoL changes or endgame content.

edit: before someone misconstrues me, I see no use in botting or hacking pd2. It serves no purpose whatsoever, even for the one doing it. Unlike closed bnet, where things have actual value, there's no point in accumulating or trading items outside of improving your character.
also not planning on updating their stuff so it runs properly as to not get caught (you're welcome).

Ive watched a bunch of the main streamers playing it and im not impressed...

Supposedly its endgame should be very challenging... all i see is a party of 8 facerolling maps without any difficulty with trash gear.

All got torches already, so ubers aint hard either.

Only dia clone seems rly hard from what ive seen...

All those extra support chars like summon dudu, curse nec, holy pala... seem extremely boring to play and investing so much time and effort in a char that sits back doesnt seem rewording at all.
