the pd2 mods have very fragile egos and their first taste of power. bad combo. you will be perma banned for wrong think, if you actually wanna play their PoD rip off just dont say anything in the discord

If pod gets the high res update ill go play that.

I sure hope they realize that banning people for voicing an opinion is not the way to go. I'm not arguing free speech here, private entities do as they please (see jsp for reference) - but thats a slippery slope. Never leads to any good.

Anyway Im a passive bystander to all this drama. I just enjoy the mod basically ssf, only the occasional trade ingame with friends or if the stars align and i manage to find someone on discord. But its amazing o see how much feelings are tossed around on all sides. People basically wishing lifetimes of unfortune to eachother for liking different things...

I was discord banned for saying mods scamming is unethical.

if they really want to do something, they should post an announcement saying that talking about d2jsp (the forum, the phenomenon, the drama that went down with one/any of their moderators) will get you temporarily muted. Say for 24 hours. Permanently banning someone for an opinion is an option - it's their decision. It will reflect very poorly on them and hurt the project long term, as it shows a deep lack of moderation in using admin powers. That's my - albeit worthless - opinion. If it's further true that people have gotten banned in game for saying something disagreeable - I'm lost for words about the lack of integrity whoever decided upon such action. That's incredibly petty and sad. Just because you can, doesn't mean you should, and for your own good it's best to have moderators that can strike that balance eyes closed. Again - thats just my opinion.

I'm still having fun in the mod and will keep playing until I don't have fun anymore.
