yeah well if you start something without the ability to manage it then you messed up. like lol so because they were too inexperienced to realize they are in way over their heads they just get a pass? use some of that money to hire someone who knows wtf they are doing. somehow median XL never has this many problems, explain that? magic?

here ill give you some insight. i was around when MxL was out day one to the public. I was here when PoD was out day one to the public and with anni, and with D2BM, and with most of the smaller no name private servers. hell none of u remember when PoD was down for 29 days in a row where you??? they all had these issues. If it was dupes or ddos attacks ect. on the bright side it seems pd2 cant be attacked that way, only internal attacks (bugs crashing the game servers). how long has this mod been out 3 weeks? ish? maybe more? They're clearly doing something right with over 70k discord members, that's assuming all of them are playing and everyone has 1-4 accounts well say that's a happy medium of 150k in game accounts on the conservative side. I got banned for trading on jsp.. So i have to start all over. which imo makes it better i "cheated" and used this site to get an advantage. Even if it was a small one. I see what they are trying to preserve here and can get behind it. will I trade again? maybe but I wanna try things fresh. we will see how it goes.
so in my eyes they are doing a hell of a job and what they can for what it is.

the word you are looking for is entitlement people have this, its human nature to feel entitled to something you gave nothing for. its the way a lot of people are raised. its normal to feel that way now day. The internet has ruined humanity in most cases. and this is 100% one of them.

Best mod without a doubt, but that's because it has been updated many times since years.
It's just getting better and better patch after patch but I remember the absurd difficulty the mod was in ultimative era, they polished it enough so many people would actually try to get to the end game content before giving up.
There is a new patch coming for Jan 2021 and hopefully they will keep the same way they did since the start.
One bad note is the SP "nerf". It's unfair to limit SP to players 1 when trading is almost non existant compared to TSW. The +20% drop chances or so does not at all compensates for it.

I totally disagree with what you have said so far:

Median XL and PoD were groundbreaking, they did something which was not done before and as pioneers it is quite normal to experience these problems. However, they have showed the mistakes to the world, everyone after them ALREADY KNOWS of those problems, and they should pre-fix them before they happen. If every new business in the world started blank and kept repeating the same mistakes of its ancestors - we would still be living in a world without electricity. It's called evolution. But that's not what PD2 is about and I hate it when people compare it to PoD or Median, the sole purpose of PD2 is for this good-for-nothing Senpai guy to make some buck, and well he did! He IS GETTING PAID (rereat that you'all that claim he is doing it for FREE) way over 15k USD / mo. His server costs are less than 1k USD / mo. He solely decided to not have BETA test but to generate money by paid beta ($50 / ticket) - directly showing to the users of the mod he doesn't give a damn if the mod is tested or not, he was ready - did a good marketing campaign, paid famous people to speak well for his mod and this got a lot of people in - which is the only good thing he did. Now when PoD new season is out in January everyone will move over there, so good for the community in general! Just please, don't praise PD2 or Senpai, here is a short list of what the mod is, for those who don't know:

Uber Tristram / Torches are broken (organ drop chances are trash for <5 people game, so GL getting one solo) and if you get one - bosses don't drop torch - they drop magic large charm - So --- no torches
Dclone - being changed every patch, people who outsmart the encounter getting banned for 'exploiting' where they just found a smart way to do it. And that's the few that got Pure Demonic Essence (drop chanes are insanely bad - we did 100 map teleport runs to boss with 5 men in game - didn't find a single one) - So --- no annihilus
Wraights - Drop rates / loot table completely broken - they didnt drop loot for the first few weeks, now Senpidiot claims he fixed them - but still they feel terribly bad (not even close to vanilla or PoD or any other mod) - So - no runes (for the normal player, the ones that duped multiple times have tons of bers and jahs)
Maps - completely unplayable - the guy nerfed mob health by 50% so far since release - showing zero testing and balance. After the last change, every second pack is a champion/rare pack BUT the item drop rates have been reduced to nothing. Ex: 5 maps 95+ density, 155+ MF, total char MF 580 - ZERO unique items thats out of at least 200 champion packs. - So no items

Infinity - nerfed to the point of absolutely useeless - SO -- no elemental classes can play the game (hello Sorc).
Assassin - only playable in one spec - Mind Blast - which the mod promotes - everything else unplayable
Amazon - only playable in the new specs - which the mod promotes - everything else unplayable - EVEN COW JAVAZON UNPLAYABLE - this is something no other mod has ever ruined since it is one of the most iconic D2 things ever, but Senpidiot doesn't give a damn what people think.
Barb - unplayable, except for support (who the F plays support on a RPG game...)
Necro - unplayable, except for support(same)
Paladin - has one extremely broken build doing 50k+ dmg, and hammerdin is relatively OK - but everyone is already bored of it.

Edit: Almost forgot, no trade site! Those humanoids cant even get a trade site up with the 15k USD / month they get, and in the same time they 'ban' people that trade on forums like JSP - because they have nowhere else to trade...

Bottom line, find what you find, sell what you can and wait for the better mods to reset/release new content. PD2 is complete garbage.

Yeah season 1 is a shit show, they should have made season 1 a beta and just let patreons work out the shit then open season 2 as a legit season
