Alot of people here came to pd2 from pod and im sure those people will go back. But what about people that havent played pod. Will you jump ship for a pod reset? Should be happening here soon

I wouldn't mind giving PoD a try someday if they gave an option to manually download their updates (their updater is finicky af for me and always cuts off halfway through).


That said, I have plenty of fun with my group of friends on PD2 and I don't really pay any attention to the Ladder (granted I know PoD and eventually PD2 add/change things up each ladder)

pod is dead, pd2 successfuly killed it!

I played a lot of pod and after playing lots of pd2 pretty much removed pod from my computer pod is just easy mode pd2

I looked on the pod discord today actually and thought it was funny that all of green dudes posts in the # Announcement area when he says something he has like 10-30 likes or that random stuff you can put under a post in discord but anything said on pd2 it gets 100’s and 100’s of likes

Sure, I might give PoD a try next season.
Been years since I played it and I quite liked it. I don't find PD2 interesting since couple weeks anyway so I would not be "quitting pd2 for pod". Same thing with bnet ladder (decade since tho): I usually quit after 3weeks - 2 months (depending how botted it is).
Without PVP there's no incentive to grind/play further imo.
