Hey what you think is the best pve weapon for druid.
Grief is little nerfed on pd2 so botd , tomb reaver ?
What you prefer and do you have a guide for feral druid. Not the vannila one ?
Also dbrunski have jsp ?

I do feel that grief is significantly nerfed in PD2, however I can't say this is a bad thing as it does open the doors for some other items that haven't been utilized as extensively in past.
When selecting the druid weapon and the updates made to PD2 there are few things to keep in mind:

a. only IAS from the weapon is taken in consideration;
b. Str & Dex require much more hardpoints then in vanilla.

Personally running a 3 socket Tomb Reaver on mine, nothing that the Str & Dex requirement are significant, but still outways the dmg output, IAS and much needed resist. Personally I've seen some people with a Botd, but in the end the dmg output is similar whilst not getting any additional great benefits. The stat points you do get from the capped Botd do not bring any value as all your items are already equiped.

As a secondary I ran with an upped Ribcracker with shael - very underestimated shaper weapon and most probably price, statwise, dmg output one of the most underestimated druid pve weapons.

My buddy has an eth gavel of pain which he likes the most from everything hes tried. Theyve buffed it to 15% chance to hit lvl 16 amp. So it breaks phys immunes and you dont have to rely on your merc to get amp.

He also go 6os corrupt cause hes the luckiest person who exists, but Im sure it would still be strong with a 4os puzzle


Hes been hunting for an eth Cranium Basher to try next. Since it has amp damage chance on striking and 75%cb.

All 2h weapons much more valuable since 4os puzzlebox is easy to get, which opens a lot of versatility,

For fury druid I would run:
Tomb reaver
Gavel of pain
Windhammer
Cranium basher
Maybe 2h ebotd?

Eth of any is more better

Probably a few other options as well. Greif is still quite good on rabies due to the - psn res

Yea i understand . Its good to have amp dmg curse , they also added it on the reapers toll . That could be good option also even better then tombreaver if you get 5-6 soc on it.
Why no 1h with shield ? For examble eth botd ba +storm.

I think something about using a shield in ww/wb form causes you to get locked up. I used a SS on my rabies druid and it seemed to work ok though. I think its partially just having a high base damage/as on your weapon for max dmg though

No, reapers does not have sufficient base IAS (0). Thus unless you get a very good corruption you can only bring it to 60 base ias, which is still one breakpoint of tombreaver, ribcracker or even a kris (can get 30 base ias).
Botd - SS does work, but it will give you a range of 2 whereas 2 handed will give you a range of 5.

5-6 sox windhammer to reach fastest 3 frame attack.
Also corrupted Ribcracker is good. I got one with 2 os and 23% deadly strike.
I would say speed now is more important because they make fury 3 attack vs 5 in vanilla. So if you understand fury mechanics, you know that it in vanilla it has one strike longer than other four strikes . Like 5/5/5/5/9 or 4/4/4/4/7. So in pd2 the longest strike will be more often because now it’s 5/5/9 or 4/4/7. So series of fury strikes is now a bit longer with same weapons, because it will look like 5/5/9/5/5/9/5/5/9/5 vs 5/5/5/5/9/5/5/5/5/9
The best option is eth 6 sox Cranium basher with ZoD and 5 *15/40. But it’s near impossible to make.
The more real is ethWindhammer with 6 sox.
But after bricking like 15 windhammers I would say 5 sockets nonethereal windhammer is the way to go. You will have like 160% ias and it is enough to reach 3 frame attack breakpoint - 153%,
Also you can craft pretty nice strong weapons like 5 os reapers toll.
The main reason why windhammer is best - it is cheap. You can buy and craft a lot. And it already has 60% ias, 50% crushing blow and potential for 5-6 sockets.

Best weapon i have seen is 6 socket buriza.

I think tomb is all you need for end game doing t3 maps.now you can 3soc with ed jewela guliface so you dont miss cb.
I want to try cranium basher also but havent see one yet with 6 soc eth.
