Whats the difference between Project Diablo 2 and Path of Diablo? Looking for the Wikis of both they look very similar, almost as if PD2 is just a copy of PoD?

I also see SenpaiSomething's name on several of the PoD wiki edits, was he a developer of PoD that had a falling out and has released a new copy or something?

Really asking because I've only just found out about both these projects and I'm wondering if its worth playing PoD while they work out the bugs with PD2.

If anyone knows the difference please let me know

Project Diablo 2, I would say COULD be better.
The premise the promise.. its all there. Harder content, TEAM content as well.
Just we haven't gotten to experience it because they had some people ddosing the server too dupe the entire launch.

Path of Diablo is fun for what it is, butt may as well play Path of exile if you want insane power creep just the same as Path of Exile... Plus it has tons of RMT(I know we're on JSP) PD2 has a system in-place detecting it and have banned 100+ accounts week 1.

Harder content is what I think I'm enjoying most of PD2 so far and if PoD doesn't have that I think I'll wait to see if they can resolve the problems with PD2. Thank you for the info

They both made lots of builds viable
Pod is much more complete/optimized
Pd2 is not really harder than pod, most builds just do less damage.
Pd2 ubers are actually much easier than pod[I've yet to try pd2 dclone]

The question is, are either better than Diablo II LOD on a ladder reset ?

there is a mod called median sigma better than all these lowbob modes that exists since 12 + years, has uniques features (aka not taken from others), has priv server without bot/dupe and so much end game content



I beat all thoses ubers are complete shit compared to median ubers lmao

I play pd2 because it actually runs in high res, best d2 mod was eastern sun by far.

Pd2 is also preset to players 5 even if you are solo.
