, I know you have the perspective of a leadership in the top 2 KD, but things are very different for the rest of us. Catacomb income dwarfs other incomes if you are one of the very, very very top earners in the game. But not everyone is like that and non-catacomb income is very precious to many of us who aren't at the pinnacle. Even within your KD, there are many player who suffer greatly in progression if their taxes are too high
For instance, if you take my last 10 completed catacombs, the average of the income/day of those 10 catas is 100T which is certainly a fair amount of gold but also not the only thing that matters in my income. The difference between 40% relic tax, 25% relic tax, 80% relic tax, 99% relic tax etc still makes a huge difference especially while I am trying to progress. Village taxes are less material for the very best players, but please remember that they still make a massive difference in how fast the rest of us progress. Thank you.
