ive bought 300m and sold 600m and had no issues so far, face to face trades 80% of it 100m+ at a time and sold in 20-100m's face to face, but i also pay cash for premium and bought 100m worth of gold when i started so if your f2p mayb thats issue, like never swiped CC

if u do trade window for gold you will 100% get banned eventually with the new unfair trading system. also buying gold is kinda of sketchy now due to if a seller gets banned they will go back and track past vistors to the island and so on just because u pass 1 ban wave also, doesnt mean u will pass the next even if u dont buy gold that time. their bans are wierd and random tbh
its better to buy items for fg then sell the items in game. use an alt account either way.
