is it really that hard to start from the standard edition? or can u get more space later on down the road?

i would suggest getting standard and then depending on if you enjoy the game,upgrade to EOD. the gamma case feels nice not gonna lie.

you can upgrade to epsilon later, google it. May be week of quests

This is what I did years ago when started playing within a month or so of owning standard I upgraded to EoD myself.

Also yes with hideout you can get the eod space stash size at level 4. Slowly work on hideout and you will get more eventually.
