I think 10 would be a nice set level for it. You can get level 10 in a few hours if you actually play your PMC and dont rat 24/7....

Do quests at night time to level even quicker.

15 doesnt take that long either, you can slam out good xp runs on factory with just a pistol

For newcomers it will be a challenge. I know I was very frustrated with the game the first few days I played until a one of my buddies took me under their wing lol.

While 15 is super easy to get to I kind of agree.

This is a feature that I feel like should have been implemented on wipe. Unless that is the case. If so I like it, will make early wipe more interesting

As a newcomer to Tarkov, 15 is really steep and really deters me from wanting to play. When you're a newcomer with little to no gear the only way to get gear is by scavving. Which doesn't grant you much XP at all.
75% of this game is knowledge. The more you know, the better you are. Which is great but means that newcomers needs to REALLY step up and do research to keep up.

I feel like I'm a part of the minority of players that has done a ton of research on the wiki to try and catch up on the knowledge gap and even then I find it difficult. I can only imagine how people that haven't done the extra research feel.

Well tbh I've done little research imo on Tarkov like I might Google or search something I'm wondering but haven't really just read shit or ask people in discord then just play. It is steep learning but its definitely worth pushing through and playing

Might actually be good to have flea a little later...I used my initial shit to get to 5 then didn't buy shit off traders. Now I need to spend a bunch on traders and I keep forgetting because I'm so use to just going to flea

this shit kills me, reddit says the same shit, it's dumb and turns newer players off before they even try, everyone likes to stroke their own ego, and talk about how "hard" it is, its literally dota2 crowd all over again, omg dota 2 has THE highest learning curve of any moba we are superior!

The learning curve isn't that steep, the only "complicated" part of the game is remembering all the controls, and i guess weapon modding if you don't know anything about weapons, even though they have made it 10000x easier over time.

Dayz had bigger maps and people had 0 problem memorizing those, and didn't complain about "learning curve", you also get offline mode, which you lose nothing and can learn literally everything.

Anyone that has played any survival game and has decent aim, will do just fine in tarkov.

/e ok i will say the one thing that has a learning curve, because it isn't explained ANYWHERE afaik, is the different ammos, that fucked me up early on, but that was all.

There is now a hack where they can loot right off your body while you are alive. They can pull from your secured container also
