Well tbh I've done little research imo on Tarkov like I might Google or search something I'm wondering but haven't really just read shit or ask people in discord then just play. It is steep learning but its definitely worth pushing through and playing
Might actually be good to have flea a little later...I used my initial shit to get to 5 then didn't buy shit off traders. Now I need to spend a bunch on traders and I keep forgetting because I'm so use to just going to flea
this shit kills me, reddit says the same shit, it's dumb and turns newer players off before they even try, everyone likes to stroke their own ego, and talk about how "hard" it is, its literally dota2 crowd all over again, omg dota 2 has THE highest learning curve of any moba we are superior!
The learning curve isn't that steep, the only "complicated" part of the game is remembering all the controls, and i guess weapon modding if you don't know anything about weapons, even though they have made it 10000x easier over time.
Dayz had bigger maps and people had 0 problem memorizing those, and didn't complain about "learning curve", you also get offline mode, which you lose nothing and can learn literally everything.
Anyone that has played any survival game and has decent aim, will do just fine in tarkov.
/e ok i will say the one thing that has a learning curve, because it isn't explained ANYWHERE afaik, is the different ammos, that fucked me up early on, but that was all.
