I have a question about players online per day. Me and my friend are interested in to buy this game, but we prefer first to ask if its still alive?

yes it is. tarkov on jsp may be "dead" but its only really alive at start of a wipe. you will 100% find players in raid if you play

My advice;

Start now when the game is slower, learn the maps and get familiar with guns, loot spawns and objectives.

When the game wipes in about 3 months and everyone comes back, you guys will have a lot more fun.

100% agreed. learn now while the lower level stuff is more affordable, you don't have everyone doing the first few quests at the same time to run into. the only issue youll have starting late into a wipe is you will not have the high end gear while most other players will. Even still, this game is awesome and has so many little things youll discover as you play even months down the road

Hi there, those wipes are every 6 months ? and end game gear is really that overpower compare to tactic aim skills etc?

any bullet will 1 tap someone in the face - but if you running low quality ammo and someone running a rsyT (fully armored helmet and facemask) you are going to struggle to kill him with a headshot for example. but rarely will you run into someone fully geared like that, most helmets even the higher tier ones have exposed areas of the head/face that shitty ammo can one tap.

either way, if you conidering playing now is the time to learn the game so when it wipes you can hit the ground running. wipes usually 6 months but it is anyone's guess when wipe will be.

Game's definitely not dead, still got new content coming as well. Tarkov on JSP on the other hand is a different story, I only have experience with JSP with Diablo but it looks dead here for sure

If people are very geared and you have bad ammo, aim for their legs. Theres no armor there. (If you can see the legs ofcourse)
As someone else said if someone doesn't have a face shield, any ammo will oneshot in the face with exception for the buckshots if the pellets doesn't hit properly

Take your time to learn the game, it takes a while. It's not noob friendly, but it's easier to learn the game now than in the beginning of a wipe I guess.
