Gold / Affinity repeatly roll back

So it seems like they put some kind of automatically roll back mechanic in this patch.
If your account has more than certain amount of gold, then it will automatically reset to your cap.

It happened to me once yesterday.
I bought 250K Affinity, and it rolled back to my allowance immediatly after patch whic hwas around 50k affinity

Today I bought 2000K gold and 200K affinity
then i went out for 30 mintues, when i came back
it rolled back to the exact stats I was right after patch 1.05

Each account seems to have different cap depending on your level and progress.
I was able to give my friend a few K affinity and he was able to keep it.

should just do like diablo 3 at this point.... account bound everything ffs

I am trying to find out the cap per account
Gold cap seems to be high even for low level toon
I had one leve 3 mule on a brand new account with 800k gold pre-patch didnt get rolled back
one with more than 10M got rolled back 10 100k

I think the cap on gold is probablly anywhere between 1M to 10m

Keep in mind, as long as either gold or affinity reach the cap, you get reset.

For affinity caps, I think it based on the actual affinity you acquire in game. Hence it explains why my mine has around 50k, but the mule account all rolled back to 2K

I have 1.8m gold on lvl 1 toon and 1.5m gold on my main.Traded 200k affinity to my lvl 1 toon and it poofed...And that affinity wasn't duped or anything.

game should be in early for atleast another 1-2 years lol not even joking

Yep, i thin caps on affinity was set extremely low and defiitely tied to your progress in game
