Did you read what I wrote on the 1st post? "You can slam the 6th affix yourself" means you can/will craft the 6th stat yourself. If you want crit, slam it with alexandrite. If you want Aether jump, slam it with genesis and so on.
If something, I would personally value a 5 affix weapon higher than 6. This lets you pick what you need without having a fear of bricking the weapon. But each on their own.
