A hard to pill to swallow for some, I’m sure, but we gotta wake up and accept the facts. D4 will not be good, it won’t be played for decades like d2 was/still is. It will crash and burn within the first 6-12 months just like d3 did, if not sooner.

There have been several reports from employees that making the game has been hell for them, and it’s been constant chaos, etc etc and the game releases in 3 months… it’s gonna be an unfinished buggy mess, a classic blizz launch.

Why is the diablo franchise blizzards red headed step child?

D1 and D2 are arguably some of the best games ever made imo and they’ve just absolutely took a fat steamy shit all over diablos legacy with diablo 3, 4, and immortal.


Long story short, don’t buy this shit game. Stick it to blizz. The only way you’ll get them to listen is if you hurt their wallets and stop buying these shit made games.

In my opinion, making a game in 4K resolution is WAY harder than making Diablo 1 or 2 in 800x600.

Essentially what they are doing is they create a virtual reality, a bit like the architect created the Matrix or God who created the Earth.

Even if their team is comprised of many talented individuals, their talent always falls short of God's talent, and for even trying to replicate God's talent, they are rewarded with Hell in their own offices.

Yup, its gonna be a bad game, similar to mobile one and D3 with open world and big boss fights like WoW, and another red flag is that its cross platform from the start, that tells you alot about it. And everything you mentioned ofc.

Should have made world of Diablo, devs belong to mmo‘s and are probably good at it, unlike arpgs

Doesnt matter, anything beats playing a game that has more bots than actualy players and i know every non-botter is gonna follow to d4 from d2r even if they think they game sucks right now.

I dont know if the things described in this report do really influence the quality of game too negatively to be honest.
Blizzard is really open about the game lately, Beta is happening very soon for everyone and people who already played the game were almost all very optimistic.

Not saying it will be another D2. It wont, and we all know it wont. But it wont be a total pile of shit either. I personally see a lot of improvement compared to D3.

Yes I also hate restricted trading, I hate item and monster scaling with the character, I hate the shared world concept, i hate the shop, i hate the battle pass, I hate all of that too, but I think that the game - despite those negatives -can become a good game.

I dont know why, but I have the feeling that we D2 Fans should be a bit more open about it and give it a chance. I think that they are putting a potentially pretty good game together and that some aspects of it might be better than we all think it will.

Ohh and you do know right, that many of those people who have been playing alpha and beta are praising the game for being awesome? Got 3 friends all playing beta and they absolute loved it. But I guess your word and opinion is the right approach?

David Brevik shoved the soul stone into his head when he parted with Blizzard in 2003. He is the wanderer, until Blizzard gets him back (likely never now) they won't have the same spirit to the game.
