Why the fuk are there so many item types with rares already being deemed less than legendaries/uniques?

The whole allure of Diablo 2 was the off chance of getting that god tier rare which can own all weapons like a eth repair fools etc. I would have been content with the following:

white
magic
rare
set
unique
runewords

Now we are soon going to have primal sets, primal legendaries, ancient sets, ancient legendaries, ancient primal legendies, ancient primal sets OMFG JUST MAKE IT STOP!!!

I want to feel like any item no what the tier has value in the end game. In Diablo 2 a good white base for a runeword has value, a good rare etc etc.

You know what's going to happen? Nobody is going to even bother picking up anything etc etc unless it's a ancient primal mythic gigachad ladder glitch eth item.

Also why are they limiting it to only 4 players standard for games? 8 is ideal and feels like a decent crowd - all these phaggy Diablo 3 residuals from the World of Wankers is creeping into Diablo

they have no idea what they're doing.

None of the lead devs ever touched diablo 2.

They have no idea what it means to get a sick item. It felt like christmas getting some good as fuck drop in diablo 2.

They so far have done well with the story/atmosphere/classes etc, but everyone know's it about the economy and trading which can make or break the long end game playability. Basic capitalism vs communism argument.

They could hire one veteran from d2jsp, and all can be solved. But they don't cuz they aren't blizzard anymore.

I agree with you, but what's the point of posting this complaint here? Post it on Blizzard's forum instead. They may consider your suggestion/argument but first they gotta read it. I doubt they come here.

i agree, i think rare/magic items should have a small chance to roll better stats than legendary/set or have a chance of different bonus's like fools mod that other items like legendary cant roll
the only point in "normal" items would be for the beginning of the game or used later for runeword bases like d2 otherwise seems pointless
they should have some kind of socketing system like the materia system in ff7?

Its pointless anyway since there will be no normal trading.

Im like 90% sure they won't make systemof trading like in d2 or like it was in early d3 with AH, and i dont see any other good way than those two. Im sure they will make atleast some restriction which will ruin hole point of trading.
