That isnt accurate. There is a ps4 trading subforum on pathofexile.com
You can even login with your psn id.. you can post any item for sale, even of it's not in a premium tab.

Yes, I've sold and bought from there. Also got the crafting service I needed from there when I didn't even get a reply here.

Never said it wasn't more convenient than a premium tab. Just to clarify that "literally no way to trade" without tabs was inaccurate.
