Boone is the only companion you'll ever need. He is almost game-breaking good.

I always grab the eyebot and boone. Eyebot makes a nice pack mule with ranged attacks and boone picks off everything. If you don't want the eyebot, cass makes a nice choice.

boone is best in combat but often makes the game far too easy. i like to use raul for his perk and hes not that great at fighting i dont like companions b/c they make the game less fun for me so i just get raul/lily and eyebot and leave them in the lucky 38
